Dr William Yu, Sydney Endocrinologist is a Consultant Endocrinologist with a focus on diabetes, obesity, and a wide range of endocrine conditions, including endocrine disorders in pregnancy. Dr. Yu completed his medical training on a full scholarship at the University of Melbourne in 2011, followed by advanced training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at John Hunter Hospital. His clinical journey spans across esteemed health networks, including Austin Hospital in Victoria and the Central Coast network in Sydney. He has been dedicated to providing specialised endocrinology and diabetes care in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region, with outreach services extending to more rural communities as part of his work with the Hunter Diabetes Alliance Program.

Passionate about advancing the field of endocrinology, Dr. Yu is particularly interested in metabolic health, obesity management, and the integration of healthcare technology. He brings a wealth of expertise to his practice, which he continues to refine through his involvement in research, training the next generation of endocrinologists, and assessing research projects for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
